JESSE LEBOURDAIS
JESSE LEBOURDAIS has spent the majority of his life putting rubber to road, and fingers to chords, carrying with him with little more than a guitar, his unique voice, and a will to endure all there is to be found. He writes songs steeped in the folk traditions of storytelling, and fuels them with the raw emotion of punk rock, revealing common veins of life, humanity, and hope, affirmed through heart-felt lyrics and passionate performances.
JESSE LEBOURDAIS pours his heart out on stage, and leaves it there for all to see. Sometimes solo, sometimes with his full band, the Long Winter, featuring longtime drummer Dave Leslie (Contra Code) and bass player Elliot Langford (the Rebel Spell, Freak Dream), his songs exist as personal confessions that transcend literal meanings to form an emotional connection with those who hear them. Pain, grief, joy, triumph, hope, and failure combine with fierce musicality and an explorative lyrical wit to make something wholly original, yet universally relatable. He has released 4 full length albums, several EPs, and two novels.
BETTER EVER THAN NEVER, his 5th full length, will be released in Spring 2026 on Kinda Cool Records.
